Cause I’m not, and mine did.

For the record, I’m okay and everyone is fine. No injuries. Story is now public so I can share the public media links. No other comments on what happened or why from me on my end. I am NOT at fault and it was not in the building I worked in, but I work in the building next to it.

Post your favorite vintage can-am and trans-am series cars to cheer me up, cause we got the all clear to go back to work. My desk smells kinda funny but other than that, I guess we are back to normal....

Being a company that does translations for other companies, I’m pretty sure that nothing will blow up, other than a pissed off translator and those guys are freelancers who work from home so nobody cares. Have a little George Follmer Boss 302 action to help the day.

....well when the fumes seeped into my building and I had to run through a cloud to get to my car......I was a little oxidized. Nothing a shower won’t fix.

Also, you just brought up a slightly haunting fear I have...

I work for a gov’t contractor in Crystal City, we are 1.5 miles from the Pentagon, as the crow flies. If my work place blows up, it’s because DC got nuke’d. Being a former rad worker, this isn’t something I like to think about.

Eh, it’s just a thing that happens. Obviously the building where the reaction happened is shut down. And it didn’t explode, but there was a nasty reaction and a LOT of hazardous fumes.
